Training and Development
Every
employee in IMIC receives formal orientation and training related to
his or her job responsibilities. However, every staff member
involved in the study management receives a complete training on GCP,
ICH, Mexican regulations, and IMIC policies and procedures. In
addition, some of the personnel attend other training seminars in
the U.S. as needed.
The department
of Academic Affairs in IMIC is also responsible for developing
periodic continued education activities for all personnel related to
clinical trials and other medical topics.
Academic Affiliation
IMIC has
established a formal affiliation with the National University of
Mexico through a program designed for alumni interested in medical
research and has the desire to enter medical school.
IMIC has also
developed a working relationship with U.C.L.A. in clinical research
in Mexico and offers American students the opportunity to receive
training in Mexico.
IMIC is also
inserted in the European-Latin American Program of Educational and
Cultural Exchange, and receives European students of diverse
professional areas for academic practice the year-round.
Educational
expansion is currently being developed in IMIC, with an interesting
project of post-graduate courses and exchanges with one of the
country’s most important private universities. |
